Astal is a platform that brings together the two key sides of the coworking industry: members and coworking spaces.
For members, Astal offers direct booking, online payment and real-time availability. In one place it gives a complete overview of coworking spaces, including their location, availability, amenities and other important information.
On the other side, Astal is also software for managing coworking spaces, used to track bookings, record payments, receive issue reports from members and communicate with them.

Problems on the members' side:
One of the main problems members face is finding a suitable coworking space that meets their needs. The process is often long and exhausting. The search usually starts online, where users have to research each coworking space one by one, look up their contact details and check how to reach them: through the website, social media, by phone or in some cases even by visiting the space in person.
After that, members have to note down information about availability, prices, amenities and features of each space, which makes the process even more complicated. This way of researching and choosing a coworking space can be long and tiring, which puts many potential users off from efficiently finding a space that suits them.
Problems on the coworking spaces' side:
Coworking spaces pointed out that they face strong competition. As the number of coworking spaces in Serbia has grown, it has become harder to stand out and attract new users.
The biggest change in the coworking market has been the arrival of Russian users, who currently use these services the most. They expect a more modern approach, including online booking, payment and as much process automation as possible. These changes make it even harder for coworking spaces to adapt and stay competitive in the market.
