Problem / Identified market opportunity
Through detailed market research, both in Serbia and worldwide, we identified the biggest problems blind and visually impaired people face globally. We concluded that they have trouble going anywhere on their own, and in the mobility process we single out two main problems: identifying the arriving bus and finding the entrance door of the building they want to reach.
GPS technology has an error of 12 metres, which is simply not enough for blind people. That is why NavBlind uses BLE beacon technology to cover those 12 metres, solve the main problems identified and bring a blind person to the last metre of their destination.
